The track is transcribed in the original key, C Minor, and uses major and minor chords.
Extended chords show that an alternative harmony was added over to create a unique sound. Producers used digitally generated inflections in instrumental track. It's impossible to play, I took some flat symbols in brackets to indicate this.
“Afterlife” is composed with straight rhythm in common time. Accent strong beats.
Avoid learning both hands together in the very beginning; you will fail immediately and abandon the score.
Amy Lee sings with soft attack so it is impossible to say when one syllable starts and when another ends.
Pitch inflections (slurred notes) are played softly. Appogiatura is widely used.
The melody rarely repeats motives precisely, it will be hard to memorize.
The aesthetic value of the track suffers due to lack of editing and throwing out excessive motives.
Notice the tremolo signs in the left hand. You can arpeggiate chords instead.
