"THE SHADE" is a song with a homophonic texture — the instrumental part provides a harmony to support the vocal but lacks its own melody. The guitar riff (better seen in the intro) isn't viewed as a melody in the music theory. Piano is an instrument that can play a melody and an accompaniment simultaneously.
The key is F major. The harmony chords are provided above the upper stave for those who want to make their own arrangements by playing arpeggios or other patterns in the left hand. All chords are extended but I didn't use three-note chords.
The chorus is colored blue for your convenience.
Notice that the upper stave is written one octave higher than what you should play.
I also doubled note values to make sightreading easier for beginners.
