Its cyclical chord change (loop) highlights melodic development.
The progression is cadential.
“Don't Say You Love Me” is composed with straight rhythm in common time. Accent strong beats.
The accompaniment reflects the original arrengement used in the song as close as possible. I used the Vocal Removed audio to transcribe the accompaniment.
The predominant vocal delivery by JIN's from BTS is tenuto non-legato.
There is very little vocal inflections and they were sung loudly.
I added the backing vocal on a separate ossia stave. You can play it if your right hand can reach this far.
Much of the song’s aesthetic value is generated through simplicity that sounds authentic and sincere.
